Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel is a British actress, best known for Missandei in HBO's huge adventure "Game of Thrones". (HBO 2011-19). Emmanuel, who was born and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's resort for sea lovers She has always been interested in acting. Her mother quickly took notice, and when young Nathalie was just three years old, parents signed her up for performing, singing and dancing classes. Emmanuel developed quickly as a actor and, by the time she reached her late teens, she had portrayed the character of Nala for her role in the West End performance of acclaimed musical "The Aristocrat." Emmanuel began auditioning as a young teenager for film and TV roles. Her first major breakthrough in 2007, when she became Sasha Valentine on the British soap-opera "Hollyoaks" (Channel 4 from 1995 to ). Emmanuel performed the role for four years until leaving the show in 2010. The next major breakthrough for Emmanuel came three years later when she was cast in the role of Missandei, the interpreter for Daenerys Targaryen (portrayed by Emilia Clarke), on HBO's "Game of Thrones." Emmanuel was participant in every episode of HBO's "Game of Thrones" until the final episode in May of 2019.
